Southpaw Roofing is proud to serve Augusta, GA, Charleston, SC and all points in between. Owners David and Dustin specialize in providing you residential and commercial roofing services and repairs for an exceptional cost. Meet Our Staff

David Noyce

- Owner

About David

David is licensed for both Residential and Commercial
Construction and has been in the industry for over 15 years. His career serving the Augusta area has built the reputation and Southpaw Roofing brand.
A native of Marietta, GA, David was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 1995, but decided to attend Furman University on a baseball scholarship. He was drafted again in 1998 and signed with the Florida Marlins. He also pitched for the Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamondbacks organizations before suffering a career-ending shoulder injury.
David married his college sweetheart Jami in 1999. They have four children and live in North Augusta. David volunteers at the North Augusta Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department coaching his children.

Dustin Tyra

- Owner

About Dustin

Dustin graduated in 2004 from Lakeside High School and played
baseball at the University of South Carolina Aiken. He graduated
in 2009 with a degree in Business Marketing, and joined forces in
the roofing field with his business partner David Noyce. They
were both left-handed pitchers, hence the name Southpaw
Roofing. Dustin married Chelsea in 2010 and they have two sons.
He has been with the company for over 14 years.

Heather Johnson

- General Manager

About Heather

Heather is a native Augusta, GA. She graduated from Lakeside High school and attended Augusta College. Heather then graduated with a MS in Clinical Psychology from Troy University. With a robust background spanning over 24 years in sales and marketing within the media industry, Heather brings invaluable expertise to her role as the Chief Marketing Officer at Southpaw Roofing, a position she assumed in 2020. Outside of her professional endeavors, Heather shares her life with her husband, Dan, and their two children, Samuel and Danielle.

Zach Murray

About Zach

Zach is a native of Washington, GA. He played college baseball at Augusta University while majoring in exercise science. Zach also began his college baseball coaching at AU, where he spent 3 years. He then went on to coach at division 1 East Tenn. State University for 2 years before joining the Southpaw Team as a Sales Representative.

Kip Custer

About Kip

Kip was born and raised in Augusta, GA and graduated from Augusta University in 2015 with a degree in Health & Physical Education. Kip was the starting left-handed pitcher for the Augusta Jags for all four years and earned the MVP for the 2013 season. Kip was a PE Teacher/High School Baseball Coach for the last seven years before joining the Southpaw Roofing team in 2022 as the Project Manager.

Josh Noyce

About Josh

Josh was born and raised in North Augusta, SC. He graduated from North Augusta High School, where he was a member of the Yellow Jackets baseball team, and later attended The College of Charleston.
His professional background includes working as a maintenance technician at MAU, where he was responsible for repairs, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep. He also worked at the River Golf Club, managing golf carts and providing excellent customer service to golfers.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through exercise, outdoor activities, and spending time at his family farm. He values time with friends and family and is passionate about carrying on the family legacy as the third generation at Southpaw Roofing.

Gina Hawk

About Gina

Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Gina grew up in the CSRA and is a proud graduate of Greenbrier High School, Class of 2002. Gina has over two decades of experience in administrative roles and brings exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to our team. Gina enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their two daughters.

Wendy Johnson

Wendy has been a proud North Augusta resident for over 25 years. She’s a mom of two, plus two bonus kids, and a graduate of Augusta Technical College. Her professional background spans years of dedication in education, insurance, and customer service- giving her a wealth of experience to bring to our team.

Outside of work, Wendy loves college football (go Dawgs!) and spending time at the beach. She’s an active member of First Baptist Church in North Augusta and is especially excited to join Southpaw Roofing- not only as a past customer who experienced firsthand how great the company is, but also because she’s looking forward to working alongside fun people who are so well known and respected in the community.

Robbie Wachman

About Robbie

Robbie has been involved in the game of baseball his entire life. After playing professionally for the Cincinnati Reds organization, he now works as the Operations Director for our Charleston division. Robbie attended the College of Charleston and enjoys giving back to the game by coaching youth baseball. He currently serves as pitching coach for Summerville High School and coaches multiple travel baseball teams, including the Seadogs 11U team where he serves as head coach. In his free time, Robbie enjoys golfing and spending time on the water with his wife of 17 years and their four children.

About Ian

Ian was born and raised in Charleston, SC and attended USC Aiken on a baseball scholarship, where he pitched for the Pacers. He graduated with a degree in Business Management in 2010 and has spent the last 13 years of his professional career working in logistics before joining the Southpaw Roofing team in 2023 as a Sales Representative. Ian loves taking his boat out, fly fishing, and playing golf. Family is most important to Ian, so he is excited for this opportunity with Southpaw Roofing because we give you that family first feel. Ian looks forward to working with everyone in the place he loves most, Charleston.

Megan is a proud graduate of Coastal Carolina University and joins our team as the Marketing Director of our Charleston division with a rich tapestry of expertise and an unwavering commitment to continuous learning. Her professional journey has encompassed diverse facets of both the roofing industry and human resource software solutions where she excelled at both outside and inside sales. Megan’s expertise in business development has been a catalyst for both growth and innovation. She has resided in Charleston, SC for the past two years with her boyfriend and their two canine companions. Megan embodies a blend of experience, enthusiasm, and local affinity that perfectly aligns with our team’s values.

About Josh

Josh is from Cochran, GA. He has spent the last 20 years working in the home improvement and construction industry. He has a passion for music and enjoys performing on weekends. Josh is an avid outdoorsman and loves to fish, hunt, camp and travel. He fell in love with the lowcountry (and a girl) in 2022 and decided to call it home. Josh and Reilly now live in Mt. Pleasant with their son Levi. Josh joined the Southpaw team in 2024 and looks forward to serving the Charleston area.
