Beyond federal service, Darrell has contributed to some of the most respected institutions in the region. He worked as a part‑time seasonal employee at Augusta National Golf Club, supporting one of the world’s premier sporting events, and spent eight years with the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, where he built lasting relationships and strengthened ties within the local business community.

Today, Darrell brings this diverse background into his work as a roofing contractor and estimator, combining technical expertise with business acumen and community engagement.
