David is licensed for both Residential and Commercial Construction and has been in the industry for over 15 years. His career serving the Augusta area has built the reputation and Southpaw Roofing brand.
A native of Marietta, GA, David was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 1995, but decided to attend Furman University on a baseball scholarship. He was drafted again in 1998 and signed with the Florida Marlins. He also pitched for the Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamondbacks organizations before suffering a career-ending shoulder injury.
David married his college sweetheart Jami in 1999. They have four children and live in North Augusta. David volunteers at the North Augusta Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department coaching his children.
